ANGEL
FOOD
MINISTRIES
We
are excited about
our new
outreach program called Angel Food Ministries. This ministry allows
anyone to purchase boxes of food at just over half of grocery store
prices. Angel Food's groceries are sold in a quantity that can fit into
a medium sized box at $30 per unit. Each month's menu consists of both
fresh and frozen items with an average retail value around $60.
Generally, one box of food assists in feeding a family of four for
about one week or a single senior citizen for almost a month. The food
is the same high quality that one would purchase at a grocery store,
not damaged or out-dated goods.

WHO
CAN PARTICIPATE?
EVERYONE
can
participate in this
ministry. There are no income limits or qualifications that must be met
in order to purchase one of these boxes. The menu changes each
month.
There are no limits to the number of
boxes an individual can order. Boxes must be paid in full, with cash or
money order, when you place your order. Order deadline and pick-up day
will be available with that month's menu. There are usually monthly
specials available for an additional charge, but only with the purchase
of a $30.00 box.
Food stamps accepted.
DISTRIBUTION
DAY
When you place your
order, you will be
given a slip that lists your pickup time. All orders need to be picked
up on Distribution Day. Orders will not be held. There
are no
refunds once an order is placed. Unclaimed boxes will be given to
families in need.
